Irish companies in liquidation
Type a company name or a company number. 5,120 companies in liquidation, from the CRO file of 12 October 2026.
Liquidator or former director? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of an Irish company in liquidation. Or a dated record report.
What this is
The Companies Registration Office records the status of every Irish company. This site lists the companies shown as in liquidation or in examinership whose last accounts were made up to a date in 2019 or later. Each record gives the date the status began, the last accounts, the company type, the activity and the county.
Who uses it
- Creditors and suppliers — is this company in liquidation, and since when?
- Former employees and customers — what became of a company I dealt with?
- Liquidators and former directors — see the data of a company in liquidation.
- About to be struck off instead? — see Irish companies listed for strike-off.
- Absorbed by another company? — see Irish companies dissolved after a merger.
What it is not
Not the Companies Registration Office, not CORE, and not a certificate. A liquidation can be a members' voluntary one, where the company is solvent: the open file does not say which kind it is, nor who the liquidator is. The register carries no headcount: being listed here says nothing about a company's size. The status is the one in the CRO open file of the date shown; check CORE for today's.
